WHO WE ARE?

Our Mission

At Sandwell Asian Development Association (SADA), our mission is to empower young people—particularly those from disadvantaged and BME communities—to lead healthy, confident, and purposeful lives.
We use sport, especially boxing, as a tool for personal growth, crime prevention, and community engagement, helping individuals stay away from anti-social behaviour and find belonging, structure, and support through positive activities.

Who We Serve

At SADA, we are committed to supporting young people and families who face social, economic, and emotional challenges. Our services are designed primarily for young people aged 11 to 25—especially those from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities—who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). We also work with children from dysfunctional family environments, fathers seeking to build stronger relationships with their children, and Muslim girls and women in need of culturally sensitive fitness spaces.

Our Core Values

These values guide everything we do at SADA:

Inclusivity – We welcome people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and abilities
Empowerment – We help individuals discover their strengths and reach their full potential
Prevention – We act early to divert young people from negative influences or harmful choices
Community – We foster unity, respect, and collaboration across cultures
